Online Casino Group Strengthens Campaign
11 May 2006
News of online casino group Bodog’s deal with InterAir Media is still making headlines. While the online casinos firm’s decision to advertise its brand on several Las Vegas flights has been widely reported on, further plans to drive home the campaign are still coming to light. This week, the online casinos group sought to push the campaign home by using Las Vegas billboard advertising. The billboards, which will be seen next month on East Tropicana Avenue in Las Vegas, will feature a photograph of a plane sporting branding for the online casinos firm. The aircraft used in the campaign belong to Allegiant Air, a domestic U.S. airline based in Las Vegas that currently offers service to 32 American cities. The first aircraft featuring the online casinos group’s branding was commissioned last week, and five others are scheduled to join it in the coming days. The six planes will sport an attractive advertising campaign for the online casinos group, which offers casino players a range of casino games and sports betting events. Bodog’s deal with Allegiant Air will run for three months. The cost of the online casinos campaign is estimated to be $500 000. Included in the deal are in-flight announcements about the online casinos group and brochures promoting its website can be found in seat pockets. The tray tables on board the Bodog aircraft will resemble blackjack tables that also bear the firm’s branding.
